    K2 is a state of the art facility offering a huge range of facilities catering for all fitness needs. A superbly versatile venue, K2 Crawley frequently hosts a wide range of events. Its huge, flexible sports hall is ideal for elite sporting tournaments. It’s been used for elite hockey events, darts, comedy nights, music concerts, exhibitions, conferences and will host the IHUK Championships in 2023.

    Located on the A23 off the M23 at Junction 11, K2 Crawley is approximately 10 minutes south of Gatwick Airport.

    Public Transport

    David Ross Sports Village is served by a host of public transport services, and this is the best and easiest way to get to and from the University Campus

    • Crawley Train Station

      The nearest train station is Crawley, which is approximately 1.5 miles away from the venue. 


      Rail services connect Crawley with London Victoria, Gatwick Ariport, Peterborough, Horsham and Portsmouth & Southsea.

    • Ifield Train Station

      Ifield train station is is approximately 2 miles away from K2 Crawley. 


      A smaller station than Crawley Train Station, but rail services connect regularly with  Peterborough and Horsham

    • Buses

      The Number 2 bus runs to and from K2 every 15 minutes via Ifield West, Ifield, West Green, Crawley Town Centre, Tilgate and Furnace Green.


      Fastway runs along Southgate Acenue. Get off at teh Southgate Avenue South stop, which is approximately a 5 minutes walk away.

    • Cycle

      K2 is well served by designated cycle paths. A lit segregated cycleway runs from Canterbury Road, Tilgate to K2, across the A23 at the traffic lights to link with the Broadfield cycle routes.


      Secure bike racks are located adjacent to the K2 entrance.

    • Walking

      K2 is well served by designated pedestrian paths. A lit segregated footpath runs from Canterbury Road, Tilgate to K2, across the A23 at the traffic lights to link with the Broadfield pedestrian routes.

    • Gatwick Airport

      K2 Arena is located just 6 miles south of Gatwick Airport, allowing easy international connections for visiting teams and officials. 

    Private Transport

    Indoor Hockey UK always recommends travelling to our venues by public transport wherever possible. If you need to use your own private vehicles, we urge players, spectators and officials to share transport wherever possible

    • Car/ Motorbike

      There are around 450 spaces available at the venue, with additional overflow spaces available just down the road. Parking is also FREE at this venue for Indoor Hockey UK events. 

    • Coach / Mini Bus

      Coach and mini buses are able to park at the arena, but space is strictly limited. Drop off bays are available outside the venue. If you are intending to bring a coach or mini bus to this venue for one of our events, please contact Indoor Hockey UK at least 72 hours before arrival.

    • Blue Badge Parking

      Limited parking for those with a blue badge is available at the arena car park. You will be required to display your blue badge whilst parked throughout the event. 

    • Drop Off / Pick Up

      A free drop off / pick up area is available outside the arena. There is no parking within this area and a maximum wait time of 15 minutes. Vehicles must not be left unattended at any time. To help with dropping off, Indoor Hockey UK can provide a kit assistance service, to allow you to leave your kit supervised whilst you park your vehicle. To use the kit assistance service, you must contact Indoor Hockey UK at least 72 hours before attending an event.
