About

Derby Arena is located on Derby's Pride Park, next to the Pride Park Stadium. Development of the £27.5 million Arena heralds the most exciting and important changes to leisure facilities in Derby in the last 40 years. The new arena is primarily a space for sports and physical activity, with a 250m indoor cycle track, 13 badminton courts, suitable for activities such as badminton, netball, football and indoor hockey.

Indoor Hockey UK's Derby Grand Slam was the first ever Indoor Hockey event to be held at this spectacular venues, and marked the first time IHUK staged an event outside the South East.

Pride Park is a business park on the outskirts of the city centre of Derby, England. Developed in the 1990s, It covers 80 hectares of former industrial land between the River Derwent and railway lines. Extensive redevelopment took place over 10 years to reclaim the site, including the building of a new access road to open the area up. Part of the site has been transformed into a nature reserve called The Sanctuary, in conjunction with Derby City Council. Pride Park Stadium and Derby Arena are both located in Pride Park. At times, it may be busier than usual, especially if other events are also taking place. If we become aware of anything that may affect you getting to our event, we will publish further information on our website.
